Despite Engineering and Robotics degrees, Ali’s work focus has primarily been on information systems and adult-learning methodology (for non-robots). He has spent years peddling object-orientation, early-web development, IT directing, and pondering ICT ‘strategery’ and ‘pedagooglery’ for NGOs and individuals.
Ali works as Director for the Privacy and Expression programme at the Tactical Technology Collective, an international NGO working to enable the effective use of information for progressive social change.
