At 48, Dittmar’s professional career started after completing a Marketing degree at Bournemouth University, as the Manager of a French logistics provider at London’s Heathrow Airport. He progressed into the music industry by marketing a German heavy metal label. Then later went on to work for New York house label Strictly Rhythm, on projects that included the release of the gold record “I Like To Move It”. After founding a booking agency and his own label “blaou” Frohmann returned to Bournemouth to acquire his second degree in Business. Subsequently, he returned to Germany to build up a photo agency . Since 2008 he has served as Managing Director for iStockphoto Europe GmbH. Just recently he got promoted to Director of International Product for the iStockphoto parent company Getty Images.
