Dorottya is an activist in Budapest, Hungary. She is working with a number of grassroots initiatives in Budapest, including feminist and queer groups. She is also a board member of Budapest Pride and was active in one of Hungary’s pro-democracy movement in Hungary, which aims to strengthen civil society and support emerging civil groups and initiatives. Dorottya was also participating in organizing and mobilizing in Gyöngyöspata during Spring 2011, when the town was occuped by right-wing extremist groups and the daily harassment of the local Roma population started.
Dorottya has studied at the University of California Los Angeles, Central European University, and Eotvos Lorand University. She has a background in Human Rights, Sociology, Afro-American Studies, and English.
