John Weitzmann works as a lawyer in Berlin and since 2006 is also Legal Project Lead for Creative Commons Germany. As far as time allows he publishes on open access, standard licensing and related topics and helps out as a freelance journalist for German federal radio broadcaster Deutschlandradio Berlin. Past engagements included being CC Europe’s first coordinator and acting as sherpa for Prof. M. Herberger in the Federal IT Summit’s Working Group No. 9 (eJustice).
