Stephen Kovats, cultural and media researcher is currently founding r0g_agency for open culture and critical transformation. Formerly director of transmediale, Berlin’s festival for art and digital culture, his new agency is developing two open cultures trajectories; the Circumpolar Cultures and Technology Summit in collaboration with the Arctic Perspective Initiative and the Rogue Media Initiative to implement open source media and cultural technologies in the establishment of the new state of South Sudan.
