For Daimler’s Business Innovation (BI) unit the term “mobility” is not just limited to spatial aspects: Being mobile can also mean, for example, intellectual flexibility and thinking in terms of alternatives: Is the need for mobility still necessarily equivalent to the need to own a vehicle? And what role does the networking factor play for the future of urban mobility? Daimler BI would like to turn the traditional concept of mobility upside down together with the re:publica participants.

The award ceremony is scheduled for 2 May at re:publica 12 in Berlin.
