Susa Pop is a designer and EU cultural manager. As co-founder and director of Public Art Lab, she curates and produces urban media projects at the intersection of technology, science and arts. Public participation, community development and intercultural exchange are thematic focus points of the successfully realised projects: Mobile Museum (2004), Mobile Studios (2006), Media Facades Festival Berlin (2008) / Europe (2010). In 2011 she organised the BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research)-funded Innovation Forum Urban Screens. Susa Pop is lecturer at universities like the FH Potsdam/Arts Management and Cultural Work and the University of Potsdam /European Media Studies. She contributes to international conferences, and curates at festivals like the re:publica Berlin, LOOP Barcelona and the Farbfest Bauhaus Dessau. In the coming years she is building up a European urban media network for Connecting Cities (2012-16). Since February 2012 Susa Pop is managing director of CREATE BERLIN e. V.
