Anwen Roberts is a science and tech writer, journalist and educator based in Berlin, Germany. Her research interests include physics and material science, marine microbiology and climate research, mathematics, neuroscience and linguistics, engineering and architecture, knowledge management and infoviz, data flow / storage / retention… and the many different ways in which science and technology in general, and information technology in particular, impact our society today.
Apart from her own reporting and publications, Anwen’s passion is for making all that high-flying super-sophisticated R&D more “open-for-all” and accessible. She firmly believes that powerful images and ideas can help to convey no-matter-what bizarre phenomena, and is therefore prepared to address everything from nematode worms to Justin Bieber armed with nothing but a mediocre vocabulary and a vague sense of Edge-iness.
